Something to help me fulfill my neurotic compulsion to constantly list things in my head... Most lists will likely continue to be updated after posting (another side effect of my neuroses)!

My Take on the World's Most Beautiful People

Hottest Guys on Earth!
[Okay, it's only been roughly seven months since I started this post (along with many other Lists drafts, I haven't gotten around to finishing it... until now!)]
Jim Carrey - He is certainly the most underrated, in terms of both acting and sex appeal. As for his acting, you know what I mean if you've seen The Truman Show, Man on the Moon, or Eternal Sunshine... Don't believe me about the sex appeal? Take a look at some more rare shots where he isn't hamming it up for the camera! Here's just one example.

Mel Gibson - Way back when I first saw Lethal Weapon 1 & (especially) 2, he won a permanent spot in my heart.
Harrison Ford - I have no idea how I didn't spot his hottiness back in the day of Star Wars... But he caught my attention in the first Indiana Jones movies... Yummy!
Jared Leto - One of the finest male specimens I've ever seen!
Johnny Depp
Brad Pitt - He's so over-exposed I hesitate to mention him. However no one (not even straight guys who are comfortable enough with their sexuality to admit the truth) can deny how beautiful he is.
Patrick Swayze - Dirty Dancing. *sigh* Enough said!
George Clooney
Taye Diggs - About as close to physical perfection as a man (or woman, depending on how you look at it...) could hope for!
Keanu Reeves - The boy may not be able to act, but when he smiles... hot, Hot, HOT!
Mark Ruffalo - First noticed him in 13 going on 30 (that dorky, funny cute that I always love), then again in In The Cut with Meg Ryan... Yow!
Vince Vaughn - Okay. The guy is like, 6'5", has gorgeous, dark eyes, full lips, and an adorable, boyish grin. All that would be more than enough, but he also is hilarious to boot! Yes, so his alcoholism has caused him to become a bit bloated in recent months, but at least now he's in recovery! ;)
Hal Sparks - Another adorable, boyish grin, and even more hilarious than VV!

Most Gorgeous Women:
- Charlize Theron
- Angelina Jolie. Usually anyway... she's one of those women who definitely has her not-so-gorgeous moments... But I think she's commonly recognized as the woman most other women would be most likely to have a lesbian affair with! She's just that hot.
- Zooey Deschanel - Mainly I know her from Almost Famous. I just think she's beautiful in an old-fashioned sort of way. Beautiful eyes and perfect, pouty lips. In my opinion (and isn't this all about my opinion??), she looks way better brunette... And to be honest, she doesn't appear to be particularly photogenic, as I had a hard time finding a great shot of her. But in the movies she usually looks great.
- Jennifer Lopez. I hesitated to include her, because since she became "J-Lo", and *especially* since she was 1/2 of "Bennifer", I've become pretty sick of her face. However, I'll never forget the first time I saw her in that scandalous green dress. Though it ended up becoming this thing in and of itself, with all the controversy & hoopla surrounding it, I remember thinking how incredibly great she looked in it, and even classy, whereas most woman tend to look somewhat slutty in that kind of getup. Anyway, because I do think she's exceptionally beautiful, in spite of the fact that she's become way over-exposed, I am still going to list her.

Things I'm Pondering as I Gear Up to Get in Shape!

- Why is it so freakin' easy to fall out of the habit of working out?
- Why is it even harder to get back into it once you're out????!
- What is it that makes some people naturally skinny?? Some never have to work out and can eat seemingly anything they want and look great. Others (no one I know personally, of course) make much more effort to eat well and work out and struggle like hell just to keep from turning into total blimps! It just ain't fair, I tell ya!!!!!
- Why is there so much food that tastes absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS that is absolute S**T for you!!??!!
- Why is there so much that's good for you that tastes bland or gross?!?
- What on God's Green Earth did we as women do to deserve such a horrible curse as CELLULITE??!!
- Why was there so little cellulite around when we were kids, yet it's running totally rampant today?! Even in kids??!!!
- Will there ever be a cure for it?!?
- How the *HELL* is it possible to have made a dilligent, conscious effort to eat better & get more exercise this week, but to have still gained yet another freakin pound since last week?!???

Where I've been, and where I Plan to go!

There is so much in this world I want to see... It's taken me awhile, but I've finally managed to go a few places in my 35 years. My goal is to become a world traveler like Thrusher!

I'll be adding pics to this one as I dig them up and get them scanned (and locations of places I want to go, as I remember or learn of more of them). For now, I've included the highlights from the few I have digitized (still workin on getting myself into the 21st century... finally got a 2nd-hand scanner, but am working overcoming a speedbump with getting it hooked up), as well as a few I "borrowed" from friendly people who are sharing via Webshots Community (to fill in the many holes from the so many I don't yet have online).

~Where I've Been
~
- Chicago, parts of IA, WY, SD, Nevada, and stopped at Bryce Canyon in AZ on the way home. * This was the "good enough" canyon, since Mom & Dad said it was supposed to just be a smaller version of the Grand Canyon. I was 13, & almost don't count these places since I remember so little of them... It's the *one* family trip we ever took!
- L.A. * Spent some time in Santa Monica, Woodland Hills, & Chatsworth... as a runaway! That's one I'll definitely have to blog about someday. Also have been to Disneyland a couple times.
- Nashville *Not sure if this counts since I was picked up the night I got there, spent the night in their juvenille hall, and was sent home the next day on a bus... thus ending the L.A. runaway story!
- Eugene, OR

- Portland, OR
*Went to Bible school there for 3 years. It's a cool city, and there's lots of gorgeous greenery, but I'm sorry, it just rains too freakin' much! While living there I also took trips to the beautiful coast, and awesome Columbia Gorge! Mom & Dad came up once to visit me, and I had to take them on a drive thru the Gorge

- Seattle, WA

- Vancouver & Victoria, Canada
- San Diego
- (with a quick trip during one of the SD visits for a few hours to) Tijuana, Mexico

- Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Author Crescent Dragonwagon wrote about this small town in one of my favorite (but now out of print) books, "To Take a Dare" but diguised it as "Excelsior Springs."
- Connecticut (don't recall the city at present, it'll come to me...)
- (with a quick afternoon/evening trip to) New York City!!!!!!!!

-Las Vegas *been here several times, and am about to go again!
- Playa Del Carmen, Mexico * So far, my favorite vacation spot: white beaches, turquoise water; who could ask for more??!
- Maui * Lots of very cool, beautiful stuff to see on the road to Hana!

I've always loved this picture of Brian (my nephew) in Maui!

- Japan!
Southern: Hiroshima, Iwakuni,
Miyajima, Sasebo, and Kyoto.. What an experience; thanks to Kimberly! I have so many Japan pics I seriously need to dig up, but for now here are three from Miyajima... A beautiful little island in southern Japan.

- Akumal, Mexico
Just down the beach from Playa, so pretty much the same thing; I love it!

- Toronto, Canada

-
Lake Tahoe, NV (many a time for snowboarding, etc)

Where I want to Go (in fairly accurate order)

- Everywhere in the Caribbean
- Thailand (Phuket, for sure)
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Scotland
- Ireland
- Palau (not only is it gorgeous, but I want to swim with those non-stinging jellyfish!)
- New York City!!! (I seriously need to spend 4 or 5 days there *at the very least*, instead of just one afternoon/evening!)
- Italy
- Greece
- Graceland!
- French Riviera
- Amsterdam
- Florida
- D.C.
- Boston
-Mexico City
- Everywhere Else!!!!
